With nearly 30 years in the beauty and tattoo industry, Shana Irish is a seasoned artist known for her precision, compassion, and creative depth. Raised by artists and originally trained in medical esthetics, she built a career that seamlessly blends skin science with artistic expression. She was the first to introduce microblading to Chicago and served as a cosmetic tattoo trainer from 2017 to 2022, mentoring others in advanced techniques across the globe. After surviving an aggressive Stage 3 Breast Cancer diagnosis, Shana’s perspective - and purpose - shifted. While she began a new path in holistic wellness, her love for tattooing never left. VENOM & BLOOM was born from that reinvention: a creative sanctuary where Shana offers cosmetic tattooing alongside her true artistic passion - fine line and microrealism tattoos that feel deeply personal, feminine, and iconic. Now newly relocated to Asheville, NC, Shana brings her unique style to Zen Ink, continuing to create body art that celebrates individuality, softness, and strength.
